AmazonSmile is one of the easiest ways to fundraise for our PTO! After the initial setup, which takes two minutes or less, Amazon donates 0.5% of all eligible purchases directly to our organization at no cost to you. It’s really that easy!
How do I get started on the Amazon mobile app?
- Join AmazonSmile– If you are not already an AmazonSmile member, simply sign up at smile.amazon.com and select your favorite charity (Ross Elementary PTO, Pittsburgh, PA) to start generating donations, at no cost to you.
- Turn on AmazonSmile– Open the app and find ’Settings’ in the main menu (☰). Tap on ‘AmazonSmile’ and follow the on-screen instructions to turn on AmazonSmile on your phone. Same products, same prices, same service as the Amazon you already know—just an extra smile from Amazon to help our school.
How do I get started on a web browser?
- Visit smile.amazon.com and click ‘get started’- You will be prompted to sign using your Amazon account info and then select your favorite charity (Ross Elementary PTO, Pittsburgh, PA) to start generating donations, at no cost to you.
- Use smile.amazon.com instead of amazon.com to continue earning– Always remember to use smile.amazon.com when using a web browser, this is the only way you can generate donations for a charity. Same products, same prices, same service as the Amazon you already know—just an extra smile from Amazon to help our school.
AmazonSmile in the app is not currently available for iPads and other tablet devices.
